Issue: Users have reported that they are unable to access Best Practice program. Some who were already connected, the program is freezing. Basically, they are all getting the below error:
Resolution:
First you can try restarting the Best Practice SQL Server service (BPSINSTANCE) on the database server.
If it doesn’t resolve the issue, you can go ahead and open the registry of the client that is trying to access Best Practice – either on a desktop computer or on a terminal server.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > Best Practice Software > Best Practice > Database and change the Server value to an IP address of the database server.
